Blue Sabine Selected as 1 of 12 Books to be Featured by "Book It, Texas!"

 Blue Sabine was recently selected as 1 of 12 books to be highlighted as part of the Bullock Texas State History Museum's 2013 program,"Book It, Texas!" The museum's program "celebrates the breadth and depth of Texas writing" by "highlighting Texas book authors and writing tradition"s in a monthly program featuring book authors and their work that allows attendees to "take a trip across Texas through stories that are famous and infamous; fantastic, informative, and thought-provoking."


Gerald Duff will be presenting Blue Sabine at the museum on Saturday, July 6, 2012, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Bullock Texas State History Museum is located at 1800 N. Congress Ave, at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. between the State Capitol and the University of Texas campus.

Gerald Duff To Appear at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival

Dirty Rice Gerald Duff will appear at the 2012 Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge on October 27, 2012, to present his novel Dirty Rice: A Season in the Evangeline League. Dirty Rice was published by the University of Louisiana Press and released on April 10, 2012. The presentation will take place from 1:00 to 1:30 pm in House Committee Room 1, followed by a book signing from 1:45 to 2:30 pm in the Barnes and Noble Tent. For more information, click here.

Gerald Duff to Present Blue Sabine at the Southern Festival of Books, October 13, 2012

Meet Gerald Duff when he presents his novel Blue Sabine at Humanities Tennessee's 24th Annual Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word. The presentation will take place from 4:00 to 5:30 pm on October 13, Legislative Plaza, Room 16, in Nashville, TN, with a book signing to follow. The festival, which will run from October 12 to 14, 2012, is free, and no registration or tickets are required. For more information about the festival, including travel options, click here.
